Designed as an essential facility, it features reinforced tilt-up concrete walls and slender-wall analysis for maximum durability. Insulated tilt-up sandwich panels enhance efficiency, while the exposed concrete exterior and interior showcase a bold, modern aesthetic with closely spaced wide reveals.
To withstand high seismic forces, the wall piers between storefront glass were thickened, requiring a unique construction approach. By sandwiching two C-shaped panels together, they created a void filled with concrete, allowing the architecturally finished panels to double as structural concrete forms—a perfect blend of innovation and strength.
