Hukilau Marketplace

The Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Hawaii is home to many unique structures. The Hukilau Marketplace is the visitor’s first glimpse into this wonderful Hawaiian attraction. It consists of 5 separate CMU and steel buildings that mimic the turn-of-the-century plantation buildings that were once found on the islands. The buildings contain everything from sweet treat shops, Goo's Plantation Store, Hapa Home souvenir shop, and Pounders Restaurant to name a few. Additional site work included full electrical and mechanical infrastructure, as well as gazebos, restrooms for the night show, and a food truck court. AE Urbia worked with Michael Lee Designs, Special Projects, and the Polynesian Cultural Center to turn these retail shops into an authentic Hawaiian experience.
