Tilt-Up Achievement Award
This 3-story office building demonstrates that a modern office building can be constructed using tilt-up concrete. This building has an abundance of windows that provide views and natural lighting. The exposed concrete structure also continues through the interior of the building. This artistic and sculptural wonder plays with geometric forms. By integrating architecture and structural engineering, the concrete walls are minimized thus reducing unwanted seismic mass, while other walls located in the interior are also left exposed and act as shear walls, bearing walls, and architectural features. The tallest concrete panels are 56.33 feet and are located at the end of the central atrium, which provides natural light to the interior core.
